Friends,
While Tuesday's outcome was not as we had planned, I neither regret running nor the opportunities presented to me while running. I am so blessed to have met so many amazing neighbors who helped me see things greater than myself or the campaign. People opened their doors and welcomed me into their lives and I am so grateful for the kinds of neighbors we have.
I encourage everyone who is not pleased with Tuesday's result to continue to stay invested and to hold our elected officials accountable. All politics is local and to affect change, we must be part of the solution. Collaboration is key and I hope that everyone who supported other candidates makes their voice heard so that we can continue moving Saint Louis in a progressive, positive direction.
As for my future plans, I think I need time to reflect and be quiet to hear what God is asking me to do. I will still continue to seek out those opportunities for change and investing myself into our community.
